Today im going to do a blog post on the products i use to "Prep + Prime" my skin..
Aveeno Advanced Care Moisturizing Cream
I capital LOVE Aveeno products and this moisturiser is my absolute fave from there range. I use it twice a day, everyday and i cannot live without it. I tend to have sensitive-dry skin so this is ideal as it claims to sooth and provide extra moisture for extra dry skin, while the added Ceramides help enhance the skin's ability to retain moisture and normalise the condition of my skin. I recommend this product to anyone suffering from exzcema.
Hourglass Veil Primer
This primer is amazing, its described as a mineral-based, water-resistant primer with SPF 15 that neutralizes the skin, minimizes shine, and creates a smooth canvas for flawless makeup application. It absorbs excess oils and minimizes the appearance of pores by evenly distributing light to help hide and soften skin imperfections and fine lines. The thing i most love about this primer is that it doesnt contain any:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Phthalates
MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
Paint pots are awesome, they can be used as primers, as a base, or as cream eyeshadows. I use this product as a primer for my eyes before i apply eyeshadow to help it stay fresh all day or all night. I just recently bought this and so far its proven to be very handy. I love the colour as its really neutral and suits almost any skin tone. Im thinking about buying another one maybe in blackground or imaginary to use as a base for a smokey eye look.
Lip Balms & Scrubs
Lush have a range of lip scrubs that come in 3 irrestible flavours Bubblegum, Mint Julips and Sweet Lips. Combine the exfoliating sugar granules with a moisturising lip balm and your lips will be left soft and prepped perfectly for lipstick or gloss.
As well as the products listed above i believe that a good skincare routine plays a vital role in prepping and priming your skin.
I'd love to hear what your favourite skincare products are, leave me a comment below.
